Here I am a little late but wanted to miss the whole “April Fool” thing. So the weather guy last night warned us to be ready for a really big and cold storm today. I made a point of walking Obi early so I’d miss getting all wet. It’s 1:30 as I write this and I’m looking out at some blue sky with sunshine. Don’t believe everything you hear about our weather!
Something you can count on is the Highway 26 tunnel being closed weekday nights–there is a detour. It is open 24 hours during the weekends. Call me if you want to talk about your trip timing and planning.
If you haven’t already heard about it there is a great new website for exploring all the other great things to do in Seaside besides our wonderful beach. Go to www.SeasideNaturally.com where you’ll find tips and maps of nearly 40 routes for birding, cycling, hiking, and kayaking. There’s a calendar so you can plan around special outdoor-themed events.
I have good news and bad news. The bad news (for you, unless you already have a reservation) is we are totally booked for the fourth of July holiday. The good news is we are totally booked except for one home that happens to have the best view of any place in Seaside. From the deck you’ll be able to see fireworks not only in Seaside but all the way up the Washington Peninsula. Go to Whaler’s Point to see and book this great place.
We have a new property to share with you as well. This condo is available most of July, all of August and a week in September. If you ever wanted to stay at the big deal WorldMark resort–here’s your chance. You can read all about the amenities available with this home at WorldMark Resort .
As a final note I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you about Zinger’s flavor’s for the month (Zinger’s is the fabulous homemade ice cream place on Broadway) for April we have Danish Sweet Cream, Maple Walnut, Raspberry Chocolate Chip, and Toasted Marshmallow. If you need an excuse to come to Seaside for a day or two, I just gave you one
As always you can see all of our homes at www.RogersInn.com .
